How To Become a PondDay Host
1. List Your Place
Describe your pond or lake, set your pricing and schedule, add photos, list any amenities you will provide, set your rules, and we’ll make your listing live to be viewed by potential guests.
2. Welcome Your Guests
The PondDay platform gives you the ability to message your guests after accepting bookings. Once you grant access and the guest confirms their coming, guests will receive pre-recorded information on how to find your listing and any special details included to make the process smooth.
3. Earn Money
Guests are required to submit payment upfront through PondDay’s secure payment system that is powered by Stripe. Your payment will be directly deposited after each booking, minus our 20% service fee.
Keep Everything Under Control
Easily manage multiple listings under your unique listing management page. The dashboard displays pertinent information and options to edit, upgrade, delete and disable listings.
Our booking system allows hosts to immediately accept any booking or screen guests themselves. The platform also makes it easy to set the schedule your listing will be open for business.
Prices and Fees
Hosts have the ability to determine the value of their listing and charge it. Additionally, there is the ability to increase or decrease the value of your listing by getting creative.

How do I become a host?
After creating and logging into your account, open your dashboard. Click “add new listing” in the top left corner. Follow the prompts to describe your listing, select your business hours, decide on pricing, add images, rules, and cancellation policy.
How do payments work?
Payments are powered by PayPal and required to be submitted by guests upfront. After deducting our service fee, the funds will be attributed to the Host account.
How do I upgrade my pond to featured?
Go to the “My Listings” page and click on the gold star to the right of your listing. Select your preferred payment method and select upgrade.
How do I get a refund?
Refund and cancellation policies are written by the host of each listing. Refunds are optional and under their discretion.
How do I reserve a listing?
Search for your perfect listing by using the location search bar on the home page or by looking at our featured listings. Once you select you will have the option to book instantly or reserve to book and communicate with the host.
How do I get in touch with my guests?
After requesting to book, hosts may reach out to guests via messenger on the host dashboard. From there Hosts and Guests are welcome to continue using the message or exchange information.
How do I get paid?
Hosts can first set up their preferred payment method when creating their account. After this is completed and one or more of their listings is booked the platform will hold all guest payments until the earned funds are requested.
How do I get more reservations?
Hosts are able to generate more interest in their listings by sharing them via various social media platforms and delivering an amazing experience along with their pond or lake.
